"Handy, but a bit hit or miss??"
The flap is useful when it reads the microchip properly, but it doesn’t always pick up my cat on the first try. Sometimes he just sits there waiting like, are you going to open or what?? It’s not awful, and it does work most of the time, but for the price I expected it to be more reliable

"Works fine, but the install felt more complicated than it should"
Putting in the Sure Petcare flap was a bit of a mixed experience for me. Some parts of the instructions were clear enough, but I still found myself going back over steps and looking up videos just to make sure I wasn’t messing it up. It definitely took longer than I expected. Once it was finally fitted, it worked fine, so no real complaints there. I just wish the installation felt a little more straightforward, especially for the price. At times it felt less like a smooth customer experience and more like I was just another ticket number trying to figure it out on my own.

"Got my pet door working in the end"
I had some trouble setting up my pet door and reached out to support because I really just wanted it working without a hassle. It took a bit longer than I would’ve liked to get a reply, but they were friendly once they got back to me. The advice they gave actually worked, so I was happy to finally get it sorted

"My cat warmed up to it surprisingly fast"
I was a little suspicious at first because my cat usually acts like anything new is a trap. But somehow, she got used to it really quickly and didn’t make a big fuss about it. Still not sure what she sees in it, but I’m not complaining

"Simple, neat, and just what we needed"
I ordered this cat flap from surepetcare i was a little unsure about the size at first. My cat is medium-sized, so I didn’t want something too cramped or awkward, but I also didn’t want a huge flap that looked out of place. Thankfully, it turned out to be just right. He gets through it easily, and once it was installed, it sat really neatly on the door. It’s one of those small things that makes daily life smoother, he has his freedom, and the door still looks tidy. Really happy with it so far. No fuss, just does exactly what it’s meant to do.

"Shipping was fine, but I was still a bit disappointed"
I ordered from Sure Petcare and, to be fair, the shipping side of things was quick and easy. I got the tracking email fast, and the parcel showed up when it said it would. The box arrived in good condition too, with no damage. I was just a bit disappointed overall because I was expecting the whole experience to feel a little better, but at least the delivery itself was reliable.

"Connection keeps dropping and it's frustrating"
This thing randomly drops the connection every now and then, and it’s really annoying. I shouldn’t have to keep dealing with interruptions like this, especially when I’m just trying to use it normally. Feels like something that should’ve been fixed before selling it.

"Easy setup, weirdly surprising"
I usually hate pairing stuff because it always turns into a whole thing, but this paired in just a few minutes with basically no messing about. it was almost too easy, which somehow made me suspicious, but I can’t really complain.

"Accurate portions, and slowly earning my trust"
I got this mostly because one of my cats inhales food and the other barely gets a shot at eating. After dealing with feeders that weren’t very consistent before, I didn’t fully trust this one at first and kept checking every portion. So far though, it’s been really accurate, basically the same amount each time. It took my cats a couple days to figure it out, but now feeding time is way less stressful. The app is simple enough too. I’m still a little cautious out of habit, but this has been working really well.

I was able to find the parts I needed, but they weren’t always in stock, which was a bit frustrating. Having to keep checking back felt unnecessary, especially when I was ready to buy

"Super handy and reliable"
This app has actually been really solid for me so far. It connects to the feeder quickly, and I can check on things even when I’m out of the house. I had one small issue after changing the WiFi, but pairing it again was easy enough. It’s nice not having to wonder if the cat’s been fed

"Does the job, but it’s louder than it should be"
It works fine overall, so I can’t say it’s a bad product. But the motor is loud, especially at night, and it has scared my cat more than once. Feels like the noise level maybe wasn’t tested in a quiet home setting.

"Makes keeping track of my cats so much easier"
I’ve got 3 cats, so I’m constantly wondering who’s inside and who’s still out roaming around. This app has made that way less annoying because I can just check instead of guessing all day. I had a quick question for support too, and they basically said something like, “Yep, you’ll be able to see each cat’s status from the app,” which was exactly what I needed. Super handy if you’ve got multiple cats.

It’s actually useful for spotting when I’ve had one of those lazy days, because apparently I do need an app to point out the obvious. Still, it works well and I’ve been using it more than I expected

I’ve had this for a few months now, i’m happy with it. It still works just like it should, and it has never let the wrong cat in. For something I wasn’t totally sure about at first, it’s turned out to be really reliable.

"Good first impression after a little adjusting"
My first impression was that this seal felt like it would do the job, and so far it has. It keeps the food from drying out too quickly, and my cat seems perfectly happy with it. It did take me a little bit to get it fitted just right, but once it was in place, it worked well.

"Finally stopped the unwanted cat visits"
We had this random cat that kept coming in and helping itself to our cat’s food, which felt like one of those annoying problems that somehow only happens to us. We got this to put an end to it, and while setting up the chip took a bit of messing around, it’s working fine now. The door locks properly and we haven’t had any more uninvited visitors stealing food. I’m giving it 4 stars because the instructions really could be clearer, especially when you’re already frustrated trying to deal with the situation.
